P. Machibroda Engineering Ltd. (PMEL) is a Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental engineering firm based in Saskatoon, SK. We are currently seeking a Drill Rig/Equipment Operator to work as part of our dynamic Field Operations group.

As a Drill Rig/Equipment Operator, you'll ensure drilling is done to project specifications and in accordance with safety standards.

The following is a list of typical duties and responsibilities for the position:

Safe operation of various pieces of drilling equipment, such as drilling rigs and powered mobile equipment;
Follow Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental drilling procedures;
Safely load/unload augers and supplies;
Clean tailings and shovel soil;
Installation of water wells;
Hammer and remove pins;
Successfully meet all preaccess requirements for all potential work sites including the successful completion of all required safety training, orientations and drug and alcohol testing;
Perform other labouring duties and elemental tasks.

A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to work in a dynamic team environment in all climates is essential.

A valid Class 3 Driver's License with an air brake endorsement and a clean Driver's Abstract is required. The position requires travel on a regular basis as such meal and accommodation allowances are provided.

Preference given to those with experience and mechanical abilities.
