Talent Acquisition Specialist - Vancouver, Canada - Vellgus Red Light
Description
As a
Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a key role in devising staffing strategies to attract and retain talents to support the company's staffing requirements across, by leading various processes in the recruitment cycle.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform the fullcycle recruiting process, including the preparation of job postings, sourcing and screening, scheduling, interviewing, preparing offers, administrative duties, background checks and recordkeeping
- Work primarily with the management team in assessing ongoing staffing requirements.
- Assist in facilitating onboarding for new employees
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations, along with company policies and procedures with respect to recruiting practices.
- Assist in brainstorming, identifying and implementing ongoing improvements to processes.
Core qualifications and skills:
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or relevant field
- 23 years of recruitment experience in a recruitment role
- Solid knowledge of applicant sourcing techniques
- Resultsdriven with a track record in setting and hitting ambitious targets
- Strong sense of urgency with impeccable timemanagement skills and the ability to handle multiple roles and tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with team members and hiring managers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS)

$65,000.00 per year
