We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a full-time Captain at Nobu Restaurant, Toronto.
In this key leadership role, you will play a pivotal part in providing exceptional service, overseeing the dining experience, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized and attentive service to guests, greeting them upon arrival, escorting them to their tables, and ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
- Lead a team of servers and support staff assigned to your section, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee the flow of service in your section, managing table assignments and seating arrangements to optimize guest satisfaction and restaurant efficiency.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant's menu, wine list, and service standards, and provide recommendations, answer questions, and assist guests with menu selections.
- Anticipate and address guest concerns, complaints, or special requests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Work with other members of the frontofhouse and backofhouse teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout service.
- Uphold cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with training and development of frontofhouse staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bussers/runners, to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service.
- Act as a liaison between guests and management, providing feedback, suggestions, and insights to improve the dining experience and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a finedining restaurant or hotel environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional service and achieve operational goals.
- Excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, service techniques, and industry trends.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
