You're an excellent leader who sees opportunities over obstacles. You bounce back when things don't go as planned and work well in fast-paced and challenging team environments. Innovative and creative, you have the skills to properly evaluate the situation and you possess outstanding communication abilities. You are never "stumped" and are the first to find solutions to difficult or complex issues.

As the Supply Chain Planner, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for 3rd party vendor commercial relationships and non-tactical activities.

In this project-oriented position, you will work with organizational stakeholders and external vendors to meet corporate objectives.

This is a hybrid work environment located at our Vancouver Head Office and, as a bonus; you will travel to conduct physical inventory counts year-round at various indoor and outdoor 3rd party vendor locations.

The life of the Supply Chain Planner includes:

  • Non-tactical activities such as inventory management, transportation claims, and supply chain compliance
  • Responsibility of 3rd Party Vendor commercial relationships
  • Travel to conduct physical inventory counts yearround for both Pulp and Lumber
  • Ensuring inventories are accurately tracked, and kept at target. Facilitating the required actions with 3rd party vendors, Sales, Planning, Product Supply, Finance, and Logistics personnel as required.

For this role, come equipped with:

  • Post-secondary Business Degree (preferably focused on Business Administration, Wood Science, or Supply Chain).
  • Strong computer skills and a solid background working with modern office software and reporting tools
  • Forwardthinking and innovative, with an ability to research, analyze and evaluate components of supply chain processes.
Ideally, you have previous experience in the lumber or pulp industry, manufacturing, or supply chain management. You also have at least three years of experience in Supply Chain/Logistics.
