Position:
Account Manager
The Account Manager helps the Advisor manage all existing relationships. That management is to build engagement with clients, referrals, connections, strategic partners, and prospects. This engagement produces more introductions, referrals, and new assets.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure the advisor always has plenty of interested, qualified, clients and prospects to talk to and see.
- Provide referrals to our strategic partners.
- Build deep relationships with select clients and partners.
- Promote referrals with both clients and prospects.
- Ensure any and all social and educational events are well planned, well attended, and produce rave reports.
- Capture and record detailed information about clients, partners, and prospects that the advisor and other team members will find helpful for sales, and building and maintaining goodwill.
- Identify and record all outside assets and opportunities held by clients and prospects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision or work as part of a team.
- Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal. This position requires the ability to interact positively with others at all levels of the organization as well as with external partners such as investment companies, insurance carriers, etc.
- Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Salary:
From $48,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay

- Ottawa, ON K1G 4K3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Secondary School (required)
Experience:
- Customer relationship management: 2 years (required)
