Description

Gray Tools Canada is a Canadian Manufacturer and Distributor of Hand Tools and Accessories.

Gray Tools Canada, is currently looking for a Machine Operator.

Responsibilities:

Operate production equipment including die selection, heat selection and internal set up
Operate production equipment in a safe and efficient manner to produce products within the required quality and efficiency criteria and within all stated tolerances
Mechanical aptitude
Perform daily and weekly checks as per maintenance procedures
Must be able to read prints and use basic measuring equipment
Meet Production targets
Monitor tooling wear, tooling upkeep/maintenance as required and inform supervisor
Ability to lift 10 lbs repeatedly
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Requirements:

Completion of high school (equivalent to Grade 12) combined with 2 years experience
Good communication and organizational skills
Excellent attendance and punctuality
Able to work in a noisy environment (hearing protection provided)
