Ebco and ACSI (sister companies) are seeking a positive, dynamic, energetic team player to take on the role of
System Administrator.
WHAT WE DO
Ebco Industries, Ltd. (Ebco) delivers world-class quality manufacturing and repair and rebuild services to projects based domestically and worldwide. Ebco is one of Canada's largest metal machining and fabrication facilities with over 65 years in manufacturing expertise.
Advanced Cyclotron Systems, Inc. (ACSI) is a world leader in the design and manufacturing of cyclotron equipment, including PET and SPECT radioisotope production cyclotrons. We have been manufacturing and supplying complete systems for radioisotope and radio compound production for over 30 years.
KEY DUTIES
- Keeping computer hardware, accessories, printers, and phones working properly and software updated to meet the organizational needs.
- Providing 1st level technical support internally to staff including rollout, upgrade and problem resolution for desktops and servers.
- Day to day administration and support of production and development systems.
- Administering, maintaining, developing, and implementing internal IT policies and procedures.
- Recommending system improvements and contributing to streamlining department processes.
- Involved in the development of reports integrated with the ERP to create reporting efficiencies for the end users.
- Other related tasks and projects as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Degree or certificate in Computer Information Systems, or other related field.
- Experience managing Hybrid environments (Cloud and Onpremises)
- Experience with Office 365 environments (Intune, Power Bi, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Cloud related tools)
- Minimum of two years' experience in a technical support position for a mixed environment including, Windows 11,10 and
- Experience with Sophos Firewall and Security protection suite
- Strong interest or aptitude in database management. DBA experience or related formal database education or DBA certification is an asset.
- Microsoft SQL Server Administration is an asset.
- Experience with ERP Visual Manufacturing, ADP, Filemaker software, Solid Works AutoCAD and Crystal Reports is also an asset.
- Experience on premises Phone systems (Mitel PBX) and VoIP is an asset
You have excellent communication and organizational skills, effective interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills and a strong desire to provide outstanding customer service.
