Travel Agent Support
The Travel Agent Next Door is a company dedicated to supporting and providing business-building tools to assist our Partner Agents with managing and growing their businesses.
Our team is comprised of members from across Canada and India and we are looking to add a dynamic team member to our Toronto Downtown office in our Agent Support and Ticketing Team.
Duties will include:
*Assisting new to the industry and experienced home-based travel agents with their day to day questions and concerns
*Coaching and mentoring our agents
*Assisting with invoicing and the entry of reservations into ClientLinq
*Troubleshooting between all departments at The Travel Agent Next Door to ensure a seamless experience for our agents
*Completing monthly call outs to our partners and documenting any feedback given
*Creating training documents and running webinars on a regular basis
- 3 + years of travel industry experience
*Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills
*Exceptional customer service skills both via support tickets and on the telephone
*Problem solver and quick thinker
*Knowledge of Sabre and Apollo, and willingness to be trained in ticketing and exchanges
*Knowledge of ClientLinq
*Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel Google Docs and Sheets)
*Excellent at adapting to software and new technology
*Must have the ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
*Must be a team player
This position will require shifts which will vary from week to week to cover the opening hours. Typical Toronto shifts are 9 am - 5 pm and 10 am - 6 pm.
Your regular hours of work will vary but will be an
8-hour shift with a 45- minute non-paid lunch.
Monday to Friday we are open 9 am - 8 pm EST.
You will be required to work every 4th Saturday 10 am-6 pm (with the Friday prior as a day off)
The Travel Agent Next Door is a young and innovative company very well recognized within the Travel Industry.
Proof of vaccination is required as this position is full-time at our office.
