Let's Get Down To Business

Responsibilities

Test and validate data sources, transformations, and calculations within technology risk dashboards.
Troubleshoot issues related to data accuracy, dashboard performance, and user experience.
Identify and document data lineage from source system to data model
Work with data owners, domain owners and product owners to ensure data being provided aligns to reporting requirements.
Conduct data analysis to highlight and report data inconsistencies, allowing users to review and provide feedback
Determine the data mapping required to join multiple data sets together across multiple sources
Lead and work closely with all stakeholders creating a strong culture of transparency and collaboration
Develop and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to support dashboard development and data analysis.
Document processes, data sources, and technical solutions for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Must Haves

Five (5) or more experience working as a Data Analyst
Proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex data sets and identify lineage.
Knowledge of data modelling concepts and database design principles.
Experience in troubleshooting datarelated issues and optimizing dashboard performance.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that robust communication and escalation mechanisms are in place across project

Technical capabilities

Ability to write SQL queries for data querying, manipulation, and analysis
Experience using Tableau
Data analysis, data profiling, data cleansing, and data quality assessment.
Understanding of relational databases, data warehouses, and ETL processes.

Nice to Haves
We are also looking for individuals who demonstrate the following traits:

Familiarity with technology risk management in financial services.
Certifications in SQL, Tableau, or related data analytics disciplines.
Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
Experience working with Agile methodology tools
Jira and Confluence.
Analyzing results of technology Key Risk Indicators.
