Description

Newport Landscaping, established in 2006, is a design/build firm with a landscape maintenance division, based out of Vineland, ON. Our organization's continued success and accelerated growth is due in large part to the investments we've made in our employees, in our equipment, and the long-term relationships we've developed with our clients.

Responsibilities:

Supervise a crew of litter control workers
Plan, assign to crew members and assist members with daily tasks accordingly
Ensure that all work is completed efficiently and to high quality standards
Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and safety protocols as needed
Lead by example and demonstrate strong leadership skills
Collaborate with management to understand the needs of the clients and provide excellent customer service
Attend to various sites, empty garbage receptacles, collect all litter and debris accordingly
Use of company vehicle
Other misc. tasks

Skills:

Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Ability to build positive relationships with junior staff
