Reporting to the Procurement Manager, we have an immediate need for an Inventory Control Coordinator. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment.The key aspect of this role is as follows:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
In this position, you will be primarily responsible for managing and optimizing all aspects related to inventory, ensuring operational continuity and efficiency.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring inventory levels as materials are issued and transferred within locations
- Using manual or computerized systems to compile inventory reports and support the inventory turns/pulls into production operations
- Entering data for inventory adjustments and reconciling physical inventories with computer counts
- Responding quickly to material flow concerns within the plant
- Entering Cycle Count journals in the inventory system
- Assisting in the shipping receiving department with receiving, inspecting and entering incoming shipments.
- Coordinating orders for outside subcontractors and Interco plant shipments
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and comprehension skills with attention to accuracy with details.
- Computer literacy: MS Office, Outlook, Working knowledge in Excel an asset.
- Familiarity with ERP-MRP systems and SAP software is an asset.
- High School Diploma/equivalent
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada with no restrictions.
We are conveniently located within the 401/403 corridor.
