Job Description:

RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre.

Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University.

The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary

In Pierrefonds:
Full-time research assistant, preferably with experience in pharmaceutical research and experience in vaccine research.

General Duties

Ethics submissions including reviewing and commenting on consent forms,
Study budget and invoicing,
Minimal lab work,
Data entry,
Monitor research charts for accuracy,
Help research nurses with some paperwork tasks,
Stay updated on vaccines and all study protocols, drugs and manuals.

Education:
Master's in Science.

Work Experience:
Work in clinical research either in a research institute or pharmaceutical establishment.

Other requirements:

Excellent French and English, spoken and written,
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
Ability to collaborate and to be convivial within a team,
2 years' experience in pharmaceutical research is considered an asset,
Must be detailoriented,
Knowledge of Word, Excel, online platforms used in research (eg. Medidata, Inform, Dacima, IVRS platforms,) is considered as an asset,
Knowledge of programming RedCap is considered as an asset,
Knowledge of Nagano is considered as an asset,
Knowledge of vaccines is considered as an asset,
Interested in vaccines and vaccinepreventable diseases.

Additional information

Status:
Temporary, full time (35-hour workweek).

Pay Scale:
$46, $85,740.20, commensurate with education and experience.

Work Shift:
Monday to Friday, rare evenings and weekends (as the studies require).

Work Site:
Other - MUHC Vaccine Study Centre in Pierrefonds.
