DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Transition users and services to M365 suite including Office365, Endpoint Manager, Onedrive and other programs.
Design, architect and build Azure virtual compute environment. Migrate workloads from onsite infrastructure to Azure.
Maintain, support and eventually decommission existing onpremise Microsoft platforms such as Exchange, Skype for Business, Remote Desktop Services, Windows Update Services, and other Microsoft enterprise products.
Maintain and support onpremise Microsoft Hyper-V Clustered environment.
Perform ongoing performance tuning, upgrades and resource optimization to the existing onpremise and cloud infrastructure.
Provide design proposals for current and future initiatives.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure that a consistent and scalable framework is applied across all environments.
Work with vendors on evaluating new technology and solutions, and resolving any outstanding incidents and problems with systems already in use.
Mentor and coach team members.

Required Skills:

Capacity to work with limited supervision.
Analytical problem solver that adheres to best practice solutions.
Advanced training and experience with Azure.
Previous experience leading cloud migration projects.
Advanced experience with Microsoft Hyper-V.
Experience with enterprise storage solutions and end to end management of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Remote Desktop Services, Hyper-V and other enterprise offerings from Microsoft.

Required Experience

8+ years' experience in IT infrastructure and with 3+ years in a role supporting cloud environments and cloud migration projects.
Relevant Post-Secondary Degree, College Diploma or the equivalent certifications and/or experience.
