As a Powerline Technician at Elexicon Energy

Construct and maintain lines and equipment energized from 120 volts to 44,000 volts on both overhead and underground plant applications.
Set foundations for pad mounted equipment and install transformers and switching devices.

You will be responsible for:

Laboring in safety-conscious work environments ensuring compliance with regulations such as Ontario Traffic Manual Field Book 7 IHSA OHSA Reg.22/04 while operating specialized equipment including bucket trucks radial boom derricks tensioning machines fault locating cable tracing hydraulic gear.
You must also operate boats ATV's snowmobiles off-road vehicles if trained communicate effectively measure current clip-on ammeters withstand voltages hi-pot meters test procedures bare hands stick rubber glove live-line techniques correct locations according policy procedure display power line technician beliefs,
