We are currently seeking an energetic, dedicated, and hardworking professional to fill the position of Corporate Law Administrative Assistant.

The position will play a key role in the administration of the corporate department and will report directly to the Corporate Services Manager at our Vaughan location.

CORPORATE LAW ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Opens corporate files and maintains accurate records
  • Assists with the maintenance of our corporate clients' business and contact information, ensuring they are kept up to date at all times
  • Manages storage and organization of all relevant files for the Corporate Services Manager
  • Sends key corporate documentation and registers to clients
  • Completes report books and reports on accounts
  • Follows up with clients on accounts to be paid
  • Maintains office supplies for the Corporate Services Manager, as required
  • Performs all other duties as directed by the Corporate Service Manager

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a professional office environment
  • A diploma in a related Legal Administration and/or Law Clerk program is an asset but is not required for the position
  • Must have excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced computer skills photocopier, printers, scanners etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills
  • Experience in handling important documentation and ability to maintain strong attention to detail
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of pertinent data
  • Demonstrates a professional demeanor, high ethical standards, respect and commitment to service excellence
  • Ability to work independently as well as cohesively with lawyers and other employees as part of a team
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
