Description
Pedersen Construction Inc. is presently seeking Gradepersons to assist with various projects.

The Gradeperson position offers a competitive compensation and benefit package

  • Reads drawings and prepares notes to layout project requirements
  • Understands offset layout & cut sheets
  • Maintains, checks and transports survey instruments
  • Work and communicate with Superintendents and Project Managers/Coordinators relative to progress and site issues.
  • Keeps notes to record installation details and creates asbuilt drawings
  • Stays 2 steps ahead with preparation for the upcoming operation
  • Can work under pressure understands that nothing happens until the grade is set
  • Provide grade for bulk earthmoving, bulk excavations, detail excavation (foundations), road/parking lot grading, slabongrade grading, etc.
  • Experience with GPS systems
  • C.E.T. or P.Eng diploma an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Seasonal


Salary:
$22.00-$28.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Experience:


  • GPS/Surveying: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • G License and your own vehicle (required)
