Automotive Glass Repair Technician Job Summary

A leading provider of automotive services is seeking a skilled Automotive Glazier/Glass Technician to join their team. As an essential part of our team, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of automotive glass.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspecting damage to vehicles and identifying the type of repair needed


• Repairing or replacing windshields, side windows, rear windows, and other glass components on vehicles


• Maintaining a clean work environment while working in production areas with multiple vehicle lifts at different heights


• Evaluating complex problems using good judgment for minimizing losses due to defect products or inaccurate estimates; effectively communicating product quality concerns upstream within value stream mapping ensuring these do not spread downstream throughout manufacturing process & implement corrective actions when necessary; performing routine maintenance tasks like lubricating moving parts,& checking electrical systems before starting repairs so they function properly afterwards always adheres safety protocols whether performing solo task assignments Or collaborating multi-disciplinary projects via open communication prioritizing timeliness efficiency achieving designated performance metrics
