    Description

    Primary function of the role will be to support the design and implementation of custom automation systems, robotics cells as well as support other Linamar facilities when required.

    Performance Expectations

    • Maintain the equipment and facility through preventive/predictive maintenance program.
    • Keep equipment and facility in working condition for maximum uptime.
    Certificate of Qualifications or Certificate as a Millwright 433A or a related field.

    • Good mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
    • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings including pneumatics/hydraulic schematics, BOM's and all related assembly drawings.
    • Proficient with computers and ability to learn quickly (Solidworks, AutoCAD, Office, etc.).
    Ability to work all rotating shifts.

    • Ability to work overtime as required.
    • Community based outreach supporting both local and global initiatives and charities.
    • Social committees and sports teams.
    • Discounts for local vendors and events, including auto supplier discounts.
