Position Summary
The Calgary Stampede BMO Kids' Zone has fun for kids of all ages with activities, an entertainment stage with multiple performances daily, and character meet and greets

Guest Ambassadors for the BMO Kids Zone play a crucial role in creating a memorable experience for families and children attending the event.

You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the safety and well-being of guests, and facilitating engaging activities within the BMO Kids Zone.

Your enthusiasm, energy, and ability to interact with children and families will contribute to the success of this highly popular attraction at the Calgary Stampede.

Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding customer service to all guests within the BMO Kids Zone, including families and children of various age groups.
Greet and welcome guests, answering questions, and providing information about the activities and entertainment available in the Kids Zone.
Ensure a safe environment for all guests by monitoring activities and enforcing safety rules and regulations.
Assist in organizing and executing various activities, guest flow, and games within the Kids Zone.
Engage with children and families, creating a fun and interactive atmosphere.
Assist with crowd management and maintain orderly lines and queues for activities and performances.
Address and resolve guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally, seeking assistance from supervisors or management as needed.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations within the Kids Zone.
Maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times, promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests.
Assist in setting up and tearing down the Kids Zone before and after the event.

Qualifications:

Passion for working with children and families, with the ability to engage and entertain guests of all ages.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and remain calm under pressure.
Must be available to work all 11 days of the 2023 Calgary Stampede July 616, 202
Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the Calgary Stampede.
Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods, walk long distances, and lift/move objects up to 25 pounds.
