Description

The Depot Warehouse Manager has primary responsibility for supervision of all depot clerks and supervisors, as well as all operational details of the Depot.

This includes all equipment maintenance, building and yard security and overseeing Processing Center operations, all safety related matters (WSCC), and all daily operations and management.


Main Duties:

  • Staff Scheduling
  • Hiring and training of depot clerks/supervisors
  • Liaise with GNWT Dept of Environment and Natural Resources to ensure all recycling programs are adhered to
  • Management of the Tri R Storage Facilities
  • Semimonthly reporting of Recycling counts
  • Management and reconciliation of cash on hand
  • Financial Reporting as required
  • Scheduling and reconciling Satellite Depots, in conjunction with ENR
  • Ensure all staff are working in a safe manner
  • Scheduling of Casual workers as required
  • Supervision of depot clerks
  • Report any major repairs required to President
  • Make minor repairs of equipment as capable
  • Assign duties to Depot Clerks
  • Complete daily paperwork for admin offices
  • Operate Laser Counter, aluminum densacan baler, plastic baler, cardboard / paper baler/ shredder, glass crusher as assigned by supervisor
  • QA Count processing and verification
  • Cleaning of PC machinery
  • Cleaning and maintenance of the yard
  • Other duties as required to ensure the safe and effective operation of the Tri R Recycling Depot

Skills Required:

  • Basic math and English (verbal & written) skills
  • Excellent customer relations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Some mechanical aptitude
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Supervisor experience of not less than 1 year
  • Class 5 Driver's license with an acceptable driver's abstract

Salary:
From $55,000.00 per year
