Student Support and Event Planner

Manages all logistics for events (location, equipment, catering, media relations, etc.)
Research external CCR (cocurricular record) learning and development opportunities
Develops, collaborates, and maintain contacts with external stakeholders, and community organizations, vendors etc. on and off campus.
Maintain an updated and tentative schedule of oncampus organizations' events and collaborate wherever possible to cross; promote while cooperating with other oncampus organizations.
Be knowledgeable of provincial, federal, and internationals awareness days and events and coordinate campaigns as appropriate.
Maintain log reports of student activities and events by creating graphical presentations of all student life projects for audit purposes.
Gather feedback from students about activities and events to constantly strive to improve student satisfaction and the quality of student life and campus experience.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree in event management or related discipline
Experience coordinating and facilitating events and/or campaigns in education
Ability to handle pressure and make good decisions quickly
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Efficient timemanagement and multitasking skills, with a willingness to work independently
Critical thinker and problemsolving skills
Working knowledge of social media platforms
G2 or G Driver's license with good standing
