Summary:


Ensures customer retention and profitability in this profit center by hiring, training, and measuring the performance of salespeople and establishing customer-focused sales standards.


Essential Duties:


Automotive Floor Manager - Essential Duties

  • Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all salespeople.
  • Ensures that each customer is greeted as quickly as possible.
  • Implements and maintains a prospect tracking and followup system
  • Ensures all follow up tasks are completed daily by sales team
  • Helps salespeople close deals when necessary.
  • Communicates with newvehicle and usedvehicle salespeople to ensure that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed.
  • Conducts sales training meetings as directed by the general sales manager.
  • Forecasts aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives for individual salespeople and provides them with the support to meet these goals.
  • Assists in development of improvement programs for salespeople who are having difficulty reaching their objectives.
  • Ensures salespeople maintain a high customer satisfaction rating.
  • Contacts new owners within 24 hours of delivery to ensure complete satisfaction with sales and delivery process. Addresses any concerns or complaints immediately.
  • Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with OMVIC regulations that affect vehicle sales.
  • Maintains professional appearance.
  • Attends managers meetings as requested.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Attributes/Skills

  • Process driven individual with hands on and disciplined approach
  • Proven success working in a fast paced environment
  • Experience working with large Sales team
  • Proficient in developing and managing a CRM platform to retain customers and seek
out new prospective sales

  • Valid OMVIC required
  • Valid Class G Drivers Licence
  • Ability to speak Punjabi is an asset.
