Description
Collaborate with the engineering team to analyze and problem solve solutions for current and future product development.

  • Assist in the procurement of required mechanical and electrical components.
  • Develop and oversee manufacturing and production of electromechanical systems.
  • Develop and review technical drawings and documents as required.
  • Knowledge of programming software/languages.
  • Knowledge of electrical panel building, I/O communication and integration with electromechanical systems.
  • Technical knowledge of automation systems, including motors, controllers, sensors, and safety devices.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
  • Familiarity with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and Canadian Electrical Code.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards such as CSA C22.1, UL325, ASTM F2200.

Qualifications, Experience and Education:

  • Diploma in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years of industry experience.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other 3D design software.
  • Proficient in the MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to problem solve and work well under pressure.
  • High level of sound and independent judgment and reasoning.
  • Analytical, thorough and detail oriented.
  • Strong technical writing skills.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
