Collaborate with the engineering team to analyze and problem solve solutions for current and future product development.

Assist in the procurement of required mechanical and electrical components.
Develop and oversee manufacturing and production of electromechanical systems.
Develop and review technical drawings and documents as required.
Knowledge of programming software/languages.
Knowledge of electrical panel building, I/O communication and integration with electromechanical systems.
Technical knowledge of automation systems, including motors, controllers, sensors, and safety devices.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
Familiarity with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and Canadian Electrical Code.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards such as CSA C22.1, UL325, ASTM F2200.

Qualifications, Experience and Education:

Diploma in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
3+ years of industry experience.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other 3D design software.
Proficient in the MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, etc.).
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to problem solve and work well under pressure.
High level of sound and independent judgment and reasoning.
Analytical, thorough and detail oriented.
Strong technical writing skills.
