Site supervisor Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel
Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors
Recruiting, hiring, training, managing and mentoring employees and contractors
Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, and safety needs
Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets, and procedures
Developing and managing project budgets and quality standards for all sites
Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably
Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officials

Site Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation
Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials and other project costs
Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, other construction management to determine budget and timeline
Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers
Create schedules for workers and subcontractors
Hire additional subcontractors and assign work accordingly
Maintain a daily log for the job site's operations, reporting to management as necessary
Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines
Implement management techniques that are costeffective and efficient

Site Supervisor Skills and Qualifications:

Customerservice skills to communicate with inspectors and administration to develop a positive working relationship.
Decisionmaking skills for selecting personnel and subcontractors for specific tasks and jobs to meet deadlines and budgets.
Initiative for generating their own business opportunities and being proactive in locating new clients. Many foremen market the companies that employ them while bidding on jobs.
Leadership skills for effectively delegating tasks to lowerlevel managers, subcontractors and construction workers.
Speaking skills for providing clear orders, explaining complex information to clients and construction workers and discussing technical details with other building specialists.
Technical skills for interpreting construction methods and technologies along with contracts and technical drawings.
Timemanagement skills to meet deadlines and ensuring construction phases are completed on time so that the next phase can start.
Writing skills for writing budgets, proposals and plans along with documenting work progress for clients and others involved.

Site Supervisor Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent communication abilities, including writing, speaking and active listening
Knowledge of construction budgeting best practices
Good planning skills, including design execution, resource allocation and contingencies
Understanding of construction equipment, including safe operating practices and signs of maintenance issues
Indepth understanding of local, state and federal construction regulations
Great problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
Effective leadership abilities, like motivation, goalsetting and conflict management
Organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization and multitasking

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
(ASK LIMO & LANDI) per year

Salary:
$60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
