Job Scope:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, Guelph, the scope of the position involves the responsibility of safe and efficient operation of all plant equipment and plant infrastructure.

This position is responsible for leading the maintenance staff while continuing to improve process and efficiencies.

Key Accountabilities:

Direct and lead the Maintenance team in scheduling, preventative maintenance and the safe efficient operation and repair of equipment.
Improve and maintain preventative and predictive maintenance systems.
Identify opportunities and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Promote a positive culture with a focus on safety and communication.
Work closely with the Maintenance Manger to provide assistance with Capitol projects, budgeting, JHSC, all other duties as assigned.
Assist / liaison Maintenance Co-Ordinator to establish an efficient and accurate inventory control.
Provide technical expertise and support to Maintenance team as needed.
Complete accurate and detailed documentation as required.
Ensure all regulations, safety standards and food safety requirements are met and maintained.

Qualifications:

Certificate of Qualification as a Millwright or Electrician License.
Minimum of (5) years experience supervisory/management in diary is preferred.
Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance systems.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal.

Computer Skills

Experience with MP2, MS Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability prioritize work effectively and work closely within a fastpaced environment.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and on call.
Solid trouble shooting and problemsolving skills, including PLC
