    The Industrial Hygienist will lead the safety culture at the Ekati Diamond Mine, interacting frequently in the field and with all departments and levels of the organization.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Conduct industrial hygiene personal and field sampling for exposures to noise, silica, respirable dust, welding fumes, and diesel particulate matter.
    • Perform confined space gas testing for permit entry.
    • Analyze data from occupational exposure assessments to identify areas for improvement.
    • Audit hearing conservation programs and respiratory protection programs to ensure controls are effective.
