Carpenter - Lower Mainland, Canada - Stocco Construction
Description
There are 2 separate divisions ofstructural and
finishing carpentry, which often have an overlap.
Key Job Responsibilities _include but are not limited to_:
- Installation of moulding, doors, and panelling
- Cutting and shaping wood
- Erecting structures
- Reading plans and blueprints
- Taking measurements and calculating the material required
- Cabinet installation experience is an asset
- Provide exceptional customer service
Job Knowledge and Skills:
- At least 3 years of carpentry experience, preferably in the restoration industry
- Supply your own tools
- Specialized equipment provided when needed
- Reliable mode of transportation to commute to and from the job site, with tools.
- Ability to fasten materials
- Perform work in a safe manner
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written
- Tools knowledge to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner.
- Comprehensive product and materials knowledge
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$28.00-$34.00 per hour

- Lower Mainland, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- carpentry: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
