Description
There are 2 separate divisions of
structural and
finishing carpentry, which often have an overlap.


Key Job Responsibilities _include but are not limited to_:

  • Installation of moulding, doors, and panelling
  • Cutting and shaping wood
  • Erecting structures
  • Reading plans and blueprints
  • Taking measurements and calculating the material required
  • Cabinet installation experience is an asset
  • Provide exceptional customer service

Job Knowledge and Skills:


  • At least 3 years of carpentry experience, preferably in the restoration industry
  • Supply your own tools
  • Specialized equipment provided when needed
  • Reliable mode of transportation to commute to and from the job site, with tools.
  • Ability to fasten materials
  • Perform work in a safe manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written
  • Tools knowledge to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner.
  • Comprehensive product and materials knowledge

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$28.00-$34.00 per hour

  • Lower Mainland, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:

- carpentry: 2 years (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
