What you will do:

  • Assist the Community Manager with minor budgeting, scheduling, marketing, and preparation of reports.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests from potential tenants, current tenants, and trades in a professional manner.
  • Liaise with building operators and contractors for quotes, order items and maintenance coordination.
  • Provide showings and lease ups for new and existing apartment buildings.
  • Assist with tenant move in and move out inspections and documentation.
  • Inspect the apartment grounds and the community spaces as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive records of properties are maintained.
  • Enter tenant information into property management software and keep up to date.
  • Fill the role of acting Community Manager in her absence.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned by the Community Manager.

What you bring to the Team:

  • At least 2 (two) years of administrative and/or property management experience.
  • A resourceful thinker with exceptional time management and organizational skills who is always up for a challenge.
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines while ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient use of office equipment & software including but not limited to Windows, Microsoft Office (with emphasis on Excel), Outlook, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as within a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Postsecondary education/course in Property Management or a related field considered a strong asset.
  • Experience in real estate considered a strong asset.
