    Join Team CARFAX as a Senior Business Analyst - Automotive One last thing: Our four-day week continues in Summer 2024The CARFAX product management team is looking for an exceptional product professional who is passionate about delivering world class products. You will be working with teams focusing on enhancing CARFAX's core product – the CARFAX Vehicle History Report.The Senior Business Analyst - Automotive will serve as a subject matter expert to help CARFAX provide insight and identify abnormalities within the vehicle history accident and service data, as well as mine the data for additional details. This business analyst will also aid in leading product improvements projects. At CARFAX, we believe in the power of teamwork and value in-person interactions so that we can collaborate and thrive together. This position will require 2 days in the office per week, subject to change with future business needs. What you'll be doing:
  • Utilize automotive industry knowledge to help CARFAX strengthen our product leadership
  • Research and understand latest trends within the service & repair industry to identify opportunities for product improvement
  • Be the CARFAX accident and service subject matter expert
  • Maintain service mapping documentation rules that mappers will follow, in order to maintain consistency across products
  • Work closely with service mapping teams through knowledge sharing sessions
  • Provide insight into data analysis to yield higher quality products. Mine existing data for additional details.
  • Help define business requirements, consult on display, and aid in customer inquiries and escalations
  • Work with stakeholders to lead a cross functional team to define and implement product improvements
  • What we're looking for:
  • Experience in interpreting and explaining collision estimate/repair order data
  • Extensive knowledge of cars and services performed on them
  • Product owner or business analyst experience
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; willingness to get into the details and drive clarity from ambiguity
  • The ability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and focus
  • Experience presenting findings and making business recommendations
  • Experience in eliciting requirements and identifying process improvements
  • Highly collaborative with excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to push forward on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently within defined metrics and game plan
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Marketing experience – understanding of customers' needs/wants
  • Experience working with Agile software development teams
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
