Description

Western Crating International packages freight for domestic transit and international export. We design, manufacture, and deliver cost-effective packaging and crating solutions.


Primary duties include:

• Preparing and assembling raw dimensional lumber into a final product. This includes the use of stationary and manual tools.
• Responsible to keep work areas clean.
• Handling customer freight with various material handling equipment responsibly and with care.
• Working in a team environment while following instructions and safety rules.

Requirements:

• Pneumatic and power tool experience.
• General woodworking experience.
• Valid Class 5 Drivers license.
• Able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good understanding of the English language both written and spoken and able to understand drawings and build sheets.
• Able to work from ladders and at heights.
• Forklift, Fall Arrest, and First aid are an asset.

Salary:
$19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
