We are looking for a detailed oriented professional with the following skills and personality attributes to join our team as an Account Receivable Accountant:

Ability to maintain the regular duties for account receivables
Team player with a positive and helpful attitude.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
Good understanding of accounting procedures/accounting background.
Certificate or Diploma from a reputed Canadian institute is preferred.
Advance knowledge of MS Excel and QuickBooks (preferred)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to complete a high volume of work within tight deadlines
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Good problemsolving skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Should be able to multitask with attention to detail.
Full time availability is a must.
Ability to keep important information and data confidential

Job description:

Perform verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data
Record payments received as cash, cheque, and credit card transactions.
Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices and follow up on pending amounts.
Monitor accounts and incoming payments
Verify discrepancies
Respond to and resolve clients' billing issues ad questions
Prepare and manage bills, invoices and bank deposits
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger
Make sure that all payments are properly posted
Assist in preparing financial statements
Assist in preparing detailing accounts receivable status
Protects important information and confidential data related to the business.
