Description

Ensuring campus safety and security is a top priority for the University of British Columbia (UBC). The Campus Security Patrol Officer II plays a critical role in maintaining a secure environment for students, faculty, and staff. This position requires individuals who are physically fit, have strong communication skills, and can work effectively in high-pressure situations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling UBC's Vancouver campus on foot or by vehicle to identify potential security risks and prevent incidents from occurring. They will also respond to emergencies such as medical calls, fires, and other incidents requiring immediate attention. In addition to their patrol duties, the officer may be required to provide first aid services using Level 2 Occupational First Aid training.
