General Description
As a member of Shamir Canada's management team, the Quality Manager is the professional source leading and controlling quality processes, with a goal for constant improvement and full collaboration with entire site's departments.
Responsibilities
1.
Co-ordinating ISO certification under leadership of headquarter specialists including preparation of quality related documentation - write, maintain, implement & control routinely
- Setting standards for process control, collaborate in the establishment of quality and operational KPIs - Active contribution towards the site overall goals
- Identifying quality issues in production, setting mechanisms for monitoring and improvement
- Engagement in process and product changes
- Responsible for maintaining customer service common goals in all related to customer claims, warranties & returns analysis.
- Producing site level CAPAs in case of need
- Monitoring and measuring equipment management
Job Requirements
- Formal education: Practical engineer / engineer in relevant field (e.g. industrial)
- ISO Experience: background with preparing companies for ISO certification
- Knowledge on Medical Device Regulations, relevant ISO / ANSI / FDA / MIL corresponding standards an advantage
- High level English communication skills (speaking, writing and reading)
- Proven experience in Quality management / leadership
- Experience in process control & statistical sampling plans
- Experience with ERP systems
