    Aerotek is currently hiring for a production machine operator for our automotive client in Gananoque. If you have experience in machine operation, or in the automotive field, apply today

    Description

    You will be working on the production floor where there are five separate sections of production. You will be starting off with the cold threaded machines to set the up, allocate materials, run the machines, etc. You will be making fasteners for the automotive industry.

    Job Duties:

    • Follow the production guide
    • Setup the cold threaded machine with the raw materials provided
    • Monitor production line to ensure consistency
    • Move the finished product to quality
    • Identify issues with the production line
    • Operating other machines as necessary
    • Follow safety protocols
    • Keeping the station neat

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma (minimum)
    • Manual Machine Operating Experience
    • Producing nuts, bolts, fasteners, etc.
    • Mechanical aptitude
    • Experience in the automotive/manufacturing industry would be an asset
    • Reliable transportation

    Job Details:

    • Full-time job
    • Located in Gananoque
    • Pay: $21 - $23 depending on experience
