Project Overview:
I am looking for a talented web designer to create a high-end "shell" or template for a niche travel website.
The primary goal of this site is to serve as a professional portfolio/proof-of-concept to pitch Signature Travel Network agencies for a travel advisor partnership.
Create a clean, modern, visually striking website shell/template for a niche travel concept focused on yacht‑based travel to island and beachside urban destinations (e.g., Miami, Honolulu, San Diego, Caribbean islands, Mediterranean coastal cities, etc.).
This site will be used as a presentation and partnership tool when approaching Signature Travel Network agencies to collaborate with me as a travel advisor.
It does not need to be fully functional at this stage—just a polished, professional template that communicates the brand vision and potential.
Target Aesthetic:
Vibe:
Sophisticated, minimalist, and "quiet luxury"—think Apple or Tesla meets Conde Nast Traveler.
Palette:
Nautical blues, sand neutrals, and nocturnal city-view accents.
Performance:
Fast-loading and perfectly responsive for affluent travelers on mobile devices.
Scope of Work* (6 pages): *Note on mobile performance - website must have responsive design that is pixel-perfect on mobile, as luxury clients often browse on the go.
High-Impact Homepage:
A "fantasy portal" with a luxury yacht filters and a focus on "breeze" and "adventure" aesthetics.
Destinations Page:
Clean, structured page layout similar to functionality of Boutique Shop's shop/storefront page; in order to feature a menu of "Island Urban" cities, featuring high-quality photography and images as thumbnails that can be clicked on for booking info.
Provide a sample "click through" that will lead to a page demo of a Yacht life:"dummy" sections for yacht specs, "Life on Board" gallery, and a curated coastal itinerary. For example, landing pages for specific urban hubs like Miami and Honolulu, focusing on "Yacht-to-Table" dining and private dockage.
Signature Network Ready page:
Placeholders for Signature Travel Network-exclusive benefits (e.g., room upgrades, breakfast credits) to show how I will market their preferred partners.
Signature Amenities Section:
Placeholders showing exclusive Signature Travel Network benefits (e.g., $100 resort credits, late checkout) to prove I can leverage their preferred partnerships.
- The "Island City Life" Blog (Tumblr Integration): A dedicated, stylistically consistent page with a minimalist, grid-based theme to maintain a luxury "mood board" aesthetic. The page will connect directly to a Tumblr blog from a widget.
- Boutique Shop (eCommerce): A Shopify storefront for high-end travel essentials. I prefer Shopify Plus or Ecwid integrations, as these platforms are proven to handle luxury brand aesthetics with global reach.
- Curated Auctions (eBay Integration): A "Certified Pre-Owned Luxury" section featuring eBay auctions. Use Elfsight widgets or similar tools to embed active luxury listings directly into the site template.
