Overview:

Project Manager, RMX Performance, reporting to the Manager, Ready Mix (RMX) Production for Western Canada, is responsible for the coordination, management and implementation of plant and fleet projects for our RMX business.

This is a broad role with respect to topics, tasks and geography and is a strong learning role within RMX operations and Lafarge overall.

This role fosters knowledge and experience in production, delivery, technology, Lean Management and project management, with significant opportunity for exposure within Lafarge, a Holcim company.- At Holcim we are becoming a net-zero company, putting climate action at the heart of our strategy.

We are at the forefront of decarbonizing building end-to-end, in line with our purpose to build progress for people and the planet.

We are greening our operations to decarbonize Holcim and become a net-zero company with green energy, green formulations, green mobility and next-generation technologies.- As Lafarge's mission to accelerate green growth is reflected strongly in the projects of the WCAN RMX Performance Team, Sustainability is at the core of all projects that this role is involved in.

Examples of this include alternative fuels in our delivery operations, reduced use of natural resources such as water and decreased use of raw materials in concrete.

In particular Cement in Concrete represents a major opportunity, as significant amounts of CO 2 are emitted in the production of concrete.
