Aspart of a wider HR transformation program and the spin-off of Siemens Energyfrom Siemens, the payroll operating model moving forward will be fullycomprehensive, split between a professional HR BPO for zero to gross processingand managed payroll (gross to net) with industry leading payroll providers.

Weare looking for a Regional Payroll Specialist to play a key role supporting theHR/Payroll service delivery in the Canadian Region, working alongside a globaland diverse team of senior payroll leaders ensuring and maintainingfit-for-purpose processes, governing end-to-end delivery in a timely andaccurate manner.


How You'll Make an Impact

  • Playa key role in the payroll transformation initiative in the Canadian region andwork alongside the Regional Payroll Lead for North America, with servicemanaging the external partners and payroll providers engaged in thistransformation and Payroll Operations.
  • Work closely and support in theservice management of the business process outsourcing service provider,ensuring quality operations, while playing a key role on deficiency resolutionand identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with other HR BusinessProcess initiatives, supplying regional or topic expertise and aspects whenneeded.
  • Maintain the communication with localand regional stakeholders and partners (such as local HR, HR Services,Accounting, Treasury, Legal, etc.) to ensure alignment with the global payrollstandards and policies.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years' experience in Payroll Operations in Canada
  • Degree in HR or a combination ofHR/Payroll desirable. CPM is a plus.
  • Experience in supporting themanagement / service management of an ecosystem of partners / vendors in PayrollServices
  • Track record in supporting thedelivery of change / improvement payroll projects.
  • Problem solving and critical thinkingskills with a continuous improvement approach.
  • Analytical skills and factbaseddecision ability
  • Selfdirected with an ability tocoordinate, plan, prioritize.
  • Selfmotivated to drive initiativesthrough to completion as an individual contributor and through others.
  • Ability to thrive in a globalenvironment, working flexibly where required.


In this role youwill be working within the Human Resources function - People Systems andServices, Accounting and a truly globaland diverse team of specialists with an open mindset, responsible for ensuringSiemens Energy payroll is compliant, accurate, timely and fit-for-purpose, witha clear governance & risk management approach, managing our Payroll vendorsand working closely with our HR Services team to safeguard end-to-end deliverywhile promoting Siemens Energy digital transformation.
