Job summary
We are hiring for an E-billing Analyst with a minimum of 3 years experience in finance or accounting to join our Finance team in Toronto,managing electronic billing setups, rate submissions and issue resolution across vendor platforms.
You'll support lawyers and analysts ensuring billing accuracy leading process improvements with confidence and precision. McCarthy Tétrault employees benefit from a hybrid work environment. This position is to fill an existing vacancy.
- Maintaining various reports spreadsheets related timekeeper rates unopened matters eBilling rejection reports other billing data.
- Assisting the billing team preparing submitting status reports budgets eBilling systems clients coordination lawyers legal assistants li Performing monthly reconciliation all eBilling invoices ensure successful submission various platforms investigating documenting rejected short-paid invoices resubmitting timely manner Acting liaison between lawyers/legal assistants Finance team assisting accounting financial queries onboarding new eBilling clients meet client requirements Initiating collection inquiries external clients escalating unresolved eBilling issues billing lawyers direction Collaborating with the billing team cancel reissue resubmit invoices preparing credit notes firm policies Gathering verifying information special arrangements requirements eBilling matter setup Ensuring timely accurate setup eBilling matters associated rates system Preparing submitting annual rate increases clients E-Billing vendor sites Escalating unresolved issues management billing lawyer appropriate Supporting setup new electronic billing requirements clients providing matter timekeeper information creating modifying invoice formats phase task code sets when necessary Performing project work leading co-ordinating participating projects assigned Other duties assigned ul >
