Description

As a Sign Maker/Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating high-quality signs and displays according to client specifications.

This role involves using a variety of materials and tools to design, fabricate, and assemble signs that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.

Attention to detail, creativity, and technical skills are crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients and/or design teams to understand their vision and requirements for signage.
Use design software to create visual representations and mockups of proposed signs.
Choose appropriate materials based on the design, location, and purpose of the sign.
Ensure that selected materials meet quality and durability standards.
Operate various tools and machinery such as CNC routers, laser cutters, and vinyl plotters to cut and shape materials.
Assemble sign components using welding, fasteners, adhesives, and other fabrication techniques.
Ensure precision and accuracy in all fabrication processes.
Implement techniques such as airbrushing, stenciling, and handpainting to enhance visual appeal.
Travel to client locations to install signs, ensuring proper alignment, mounting, and functionality.
Follow safety protocols during installation and coordinate with other professionals as needed.
Conduct quality checks at various stages of production to ensure that signs meet industry standards and client specifications.
Make necessary adjustments and corrections to maintain highquality standards.
Maintain accurate records of materials used, time spent on projects, and any issues encountered during the fabrication process.
Create documentation for future reference and improvement.
Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries, provide updates on project progress, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in sign making or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience in sign fabrication or a similar role.
Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of safety protocols and equipment used in sign fabrication.

Salary:
$18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
