Description

The
processing technician is responsible for supporting the facility processing operations. The processing technician will facilitate the harvesting, trimming, milling, pre-roll, and packaging operations based on standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities:

Learn and implement SOPs for the processes of harvesting, trimming, packaging, and labelling
Process plants during harvest in preparation for drying including trimming off stem and stalk
Perform bulk packaging and finish packaging as directed by manager.
Operates and maintain preroll, milling equipment.
Clean up and sanitize processing areas
Document activities including weights of product, and weights of destructible material and maintenance logs
Perform regular calibration of equipment and testing instruments as required
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Excellent attendance and punctuality
Experience in the cannabis industry is considered an asset
Ability to work in greenhouse environment
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
Strong attention to detail
Ability to push, pull, lift, reach with weights up to 50lbs
Strong communication skills written & verbal
Able to follow written and verbal instructions
Reliable transportation.
Previous experience with a Licensed Producer is an asset.

Working Conditions:

Please note this is a greenhouse facility and our cultivation technicians will be primarily working in greenhouse conditions while wearing PPE (uniform, face mask, hair net, gloves, etc.).

Our Cultivation Technicians are also constantly exposed to environmental allergens including cannabis, THC, CBD, pollen, etc.
