The Role:

Supporting business users in the Americas and globally for our main trading and industrial information systems
Be part of a global support team distributed across Switzerland, Canada and Australia
Closely working with business analysts and developers locally and in our headquarters in Baar, Switzerland to resolve reported issues
Monitor information systems and data loads and proactively address issues
Regular communication on status and progress of pending issues to relevant stakeholders
Problem management and proposal of correcting measures to proactively prevent reoccurring issues
Extend and maintain product support documentation for support staff and end users

Technical Experience:

Solid understanding of common business information system architectures and underlying technologies
Solid understanding of IT development technologies and processes (SDLC)
Proven experience of supporting either offtheshelf or custombuilt business information systems
Strong SQL knowledge
Experience with job scheduler and orchestration tools such as Automic
Experience with middleware integration platforms such as Dell Boomi
Familiar with data warehouse platforms and ETL tools and processes

Our Ideal Person:

Education on degree level (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 to 4 years of working experience in a support role
Use of ITIL processes and tools
Knowledge and use of business analysis methodologies
Fluid in English written and spoken
Selfdriven and with the right sense of urgency
