Responsibilities for Estimator:

Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications and related documents
Identify labor, material and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications and related documents
Compute costs by analyzing labor, material and time requirements
Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
Present prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information
Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information trends
Maintain cost database by entering and backing up data
Build and maintain relationships internally and externally

Requirements:

57 years of experience in a technical/commercial role, preferably in the ICI Structural Steel, Mining and Manufacturing or Fabrication industry
Direct experience with steel processing, with a focus on metal fabrication and steel surface preparation
AutoCAD, Tekla Structures and FabTrol skills are considered an asset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently, hands on and deliver results within a team environment
Strong organization skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and

Salary:

- $55,000-$75,000
