Squamish Nation consists of 23 villages and is comprised of descendants of the Coast Salish Aboriginal people who live in the present-day Greater Vancouver area, Gibson's Landing, and Squamish River watershed.
As an organization, we provide support to the greater Squamish Nation Community through service. With 12 departments with individual areas of expertise, we ensure Community Members have access to necessary programs and services.
About the Opportunity:
Working as an integral part of the Ta na wa Yúus ta Stitúyntsam̓ Rights and Title Department, reporting to the Director, Rights & Title, the Project lead/Executive Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Director with reports, stats tracking, and Council Committee meetings.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing information flow in a timely and accurate manner as well as managing the Director's calendar and set up meetings.
This role requires an organized and adaptable schedule, uses excellent oral and written communication skills to ensure project(s) meet deadlines.
The incumbent will set up and manage spreadsheets, put together presentations, graphics, organizational skills and communication.Project lead/Executive Assistant provides project management expertise and support to the Director regarding referral management system focused on day-to-day Administrative functions, evaluation of programs, and quality assurance for the department.

Salary:
$68,876 - $77,100 annually, plus a comprehensive benefit program.
