Headquartered in Laval (QC), Galien is the exclusive distributor of Bauerfeind products in Canada.

Bauerfeind is a German-based company that offers a full range of innovative supports, orthoses, medical compression stockings and orthopedic orthoses to help individuals maintain and regain healthy lives.

We are currently seeking a motivated individual for the position of shipping and receiving clerk.

The employee will perform the following tasks and tasks:

Effectively pick customer orders for shipping.
Make sure the number and type of product is loaded, packaged, weighed and shipped.
Make sure incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate and without damage.
Receive shipments from the supplier, place and correctly classify the stock received.
Repackage products when their packaging is damaged.

The employee will assume the following responsibilities:

Receives the goods. Check and sign delivery slips. Help with unloading.
Unpack the goods. Check the quality and quantity of items against supporting documents. Accept or return merchandise according to established procedures.
Participate in inventory taking. Maintain the storage area, organize and place the stock on the shelves. Make sure the area is secure at all times.
Organize the distribution and shipping of merchandise. Perform the necessary checks on the documents, prepare the goods and move them to the appropriate area. Manage customer deliveries.
Responsible for the completeness and accuracy of all orders.
Meet company standards for productivity.
