SAAQ Inspector (Day or evening shift available)

We are currently looking for 3 SAAQ inspectors to complete our team in Laval: 1 inspector on the day shift (on the road) and 2 inspectors on the evening shift (1 on the road who will work in a team and 1 in the garage). The SAAQ inspectors will have to carry out the mechanical inspection of the trucks and inform the customers of the defects detected.

Responsibilities:

– Carry out inspections by following the standards and guides determined by the SAAQ;

– Complete the training necessary to maintain accreditations;

– Explain defects to customers and answer their questions;

– Complete the documentation necessary for vehicle compliance;

If necessary, perform any other related task related to the job.

Requirements:

– DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics or automobile mechanics (required)

– Experience as an inspector or in a relevant job

– Knowledge of SAAQ regulations

– Good communication (oral and written)

– Autonomy and rigor

*** A technician who does not have SAAQ accreditation will have the success of the SAAQ exam as a condition of employment ***

Additional Information:

• Schedule of 40 hours per week
