The
Vice President, Total Rewards and
HR Technology will play a pivotal role in crafting and delivering the strategic vision for MLSE's Total Rewards, HR Technology and Workforce Management portfolios.

Reporting directly to the Chief People & Inclusion Officer, this role will lead the team responsible for managing annual compensation cycles, delivering outstanding employee rewards programs and designing, implementing, and optimizing innovative solutions to enhance the employee experience and drive organizational success.

This is a collaborative and influential role that works cross-functionally with senior leaders across MLSE.


Key Responsibilities:


Total Rewards

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive compensation strategy that supports organizational goals and attracts top talent to MLSE.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
  • Strategically design and manage executive compensation programs to attract, motivate, and retain key leadership talent and align with business performance.
  • Coordinate the design, implementation, and administration of a competitive and innovative benefits program collaborating with vendors to optimize benefit offerings and ensure costeffectiveness.
  • Develop and implement integrated wellness programs to enhance employee wellbeing and engagement.
  • Work with Director Internal Communications to develop communication strategies to effectively convey the value of total rewards programs to employees.
  • Stay current on compensation and benefits regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure sufficient governance and oversight for workforce salaries and benefits.
  • Build quarterly presentation materials for the HR Committee of the Board of Directors; liaise with and/or present Total Rewards recommendations to senior executives and/or Board members as required.
  • Oversee the job evaluation process to maintain integrity of MLSE compensation structure and position management.

Workforce Management, & Planning

  • Provide leadership for the financial modeling and forecasting of hourly staff, working in partnership with operational leadership and Finance.
  • Oversee the team responsible for managing the roster and scheduling of MLSE's hourly workforce, as well as optimizing the service delivery model for workforce inquiries.
  • Contributes to the strategic planning and approach for negotiating collective bargaining agreements for hourly employees.

HR Technology

  • Lead the HR Technology team in the development and execution of an integrated HR Technology Strategy aligned with MLSE's overall business objectives and People Strategy.
  • Effectively partner and collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization, in HR and IT to develop outstanding technology solutions.
  • Champion simplification and process efficiencies that optimize technology investments while ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Drive innovation by evaluating new technologies and trends to improve overall employee experience and deliver value to the organization.

People Leadership

  • Provide motivation, coaching, training and development opportunities to members of the Total R
