Today, our tech is available across 30 countries worldwide.

We are a team of 25 highly motivated professionals in tech, marketing, sustainability, and têxtiles, located across Canada (mostly Montreal), and Latin America, working between remote and a state-of-the-art digitalization center in Montreal, in front of canal Lachine.

Job Description:


To help drive Tengiva's next stage of growth of its digital supply chain management platform for the têxtile industry, we are seeking an Account Manager / Executive.


If you love sales, are result oriented and capable of managing large corporate sales cycles with all the preparation and post-closing that goes with it, this is a position for you.


Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Account Manager will acquire new clients on the supplier side of the têxtiles industry, and help them onboard to the platform successfully.

If you have entrepreneurial drive, build strong business relationships naturally, and pride yourself on your ability to manage projects, we want to hear from you.

You will receive a contact data base to develop made up of têxtile businesses and you will:

  • Act as primary point of contact with client while developing and strengthening and client relationships to achieve and maintain long-term partnerships
  • Liaise between customer and crossfunctional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Qualify and acquire/close new clients to the platform successfully, and adjust the necessary documentation
  • Prospect into new potential clients from a target list of accounts, collaborating with marketing on accountbased marketing initiatives, and participating in industry trade shows
  • Help with initial onboarding, then manage accounts and relationships on an ongoing basis, coordinating with client success specialists to ensure the success of clients
  • Identify and understand clients' challenges and map them to value of the three pillars of the platform
  • Provide weekly pipeline and forecast updates through CRM and management discussions to ensure tracking towards quarterly and annual goals
  • Keep updated on trends and issues in têxtiles industry
  • Provide feedback to colleagues to continually enhance our products and create value for our clients

Qualifications:


  • 5+ years in sales, account management, and/or customer success
  • Experience in têxtile/apparel sector an important asset
  • Successful track record of managing longterm client relationships, resulting in mutually beneficial gain
  • Experience managing projects, or tasks (whether for internal or client projects), with a problemsolver mentality and the ability to multitask & manage multiple accounts
  • Intelligence as well as experience in presenting to prospects at all levels (e.g. CEOs, Sales, Officers, Head of departments, managers, staff)
  • Growthminded and entrepreneurial, but also armed with best practices in client relationship management
  • Experience selling technologies to nontechnical personas or "laggard" adopters required
  • Experience with Hubspot (or other CRM), and other sales productivity tools an asset
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate meetings with prospects and clients around the world in multiple timezones, from Europe to Asia
  • Ability to travel to industry events (in US or other parts of the world) (up to 10%)
  • Languages: English fluency/proficiency required, French an asset, other languages an asset
  • Globallyminded, energetic personality with a passion to make a difference
