Job Summary

The Logistics Manager will manage & develop day-to-day operations in Titanium's Head Office. They will oversee the logistics team, and ensure that margins can be maximized by reducing carrier challenges. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for finding the carriers to move our clients' freight. They will build and develop carrier relationships and negotiate competitive carrier rates while maintaining company revenue and margin goals. This role will ensure that the movement of freight will exceed our client's expectations. The manager will be the last line of defense for all roles below them for escalation, troubleshooting and coverage. They will focus on monitoring employees' work and stepping in when needed to prevent and resolve issues.

To be successful in this role they must actively seek opportunities to improve the operations of employees working under them.

Responsibilities:

Train and coach employees to increase productivity, maintain adherence to corporate policies & procedures and consistent quality of work
Establish and maintain Key Performance Indicators that accurately reflect status and quality
Control quality by exercising due diligence and care on operations to prevent service failures, security breach, and client dissatisfaction
Monitor tracking and tracing activates to ensure live updates are being acquired
Maintain good relationships with larger carriers and customers by checking in about standards and requirements being met by the team
Provide reports to management and directors as needed
Research and maintain knowledge on current market conditions, pricing, regulations, and the environmental climate

Required Skills and Qualifications

Post University BA required
10 years brokerage experience in multiple roles
Experience managing a team of at least five people
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
Proven problem solver
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
