Product Support Analyst, Marine Systems to

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct, contribute and assist in the identification of material resources to support system and subsystem preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
Review elements of the technical data package to ensure that the technical data reflects the latest system/equipment configuration of the ships, is complete, accurate and consistent across the support solution.
Review Maintenance Plans, Preventive or Corrective Maintenance Schedules, and Instructions for the purpose of identifying the necessary materiel resources to conduct the work.
Conduct detailed sparing analysis to determine the optimum quantity and distribution of spares.
Prepare for and participate in Initial Provisioning Conferences with end users and customers.
Prepare, collate and categorize Supplementary Provisioning Technical Documentation.
Manage the data within a Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have an Engineering degree or Technologist diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronic, industrial, reliability, Marine or naval engineering.
5 years experience operating and maintaining ship systems.
Canadian Red Seal or Military QL5 certification in an approved Marine Trade, included but not limited to Marine Engineering, Plumbing/Black and Gray Water, HVAC, Hydraulic, Controls and/or Refrigeration Systems.
Transport Canada Thirdclass Engineer, Motor ship or Steamship Certificate of Competency or higher.
