As a Financial Controller reporting to the Senior Director, Finance, you will:

  • Assume ownership of day-to-day accounting operations and end of the month and year-end processes.
  • Ensure the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of financial information and reports.
  • Develop, document, review accounting practices, controls and processes, and recommend/implement improvements.
  • Coordinate the tax filings and ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate the yearend audit and preparation of audited financial statements.
  • Collaborate with the Management team to develop, identify, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Contribute to the company's budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial targets and monitor performance against the budget.
  • Prepare, analyse and report on monthend, quarterly and yearend variance analysis.
  • Assist in selecting and implementing new financial systems to allow the company to scale seamlessly.
  • Contribute to everything and anything to help the team shaping into a worldclass organization.
  • Hold a CPA designation
  • Have strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge under IFRS.
  • Have a growth and curious mindset.
  • Are willing to roll up your sleeves and build stuff from the ground up.
  • Want to challenge things and people, and be challenged.
  • Are able to produce accurate results within a fastpaced changing environment.
  • Have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Have organizational, prioritization and planning skills
  • Have great written and oral communication skills, with the ability to manage people and collaborate effectively with crossfunctional departments (internal and external).
  • Can quickly be proficient with cloudbased tools and softwares (GoogleSuite, ERP, CRM, Payment processing systems, etc.).
  • Are bilingual.
